In 2023, a dream years in the making finally came to fruition. With the invaluable assistance of Miss Sophie, we brought to life our very own rendition of the beloved Nutcracker. Filled with a captivating blend of classical, musical theatre, and pop music, our adaptation took audiences on a magical journey alongside Clara and the Nutcracker. It was an endeavor fueled by dedication and hard work, sold-out performances confirmed it as one of our most unforgettable shows yet.

In 2022, as the world found its rhythm, our students eagerly resumed their dance exams, marking pivotal milestones in their artistic journey. Our summer schools blossomed into vibrant hubs of creativity, where dance harmonized with a medley of crafts, makeup, and hair workshops. Furthermore, our dedication to community spirit shone brightly through festive Christmas shows for our local community, captivating village fete performances, and heartwarming reunions as former students returned to grace our classes once more. It was a year illuminated by shared joy and unforgettable experiences.

Against all odds, the show we feared might never happen again came to life in September 2021, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Despite navigating through new regulations and COVID guidelines, we pulled it off. The sheer delight on our students’ faces as they reunited with their dance show family was a deeply moving moment for us all.

Amidst the challenges of the COVID era, our passion for dance kept us resilient. Determined to keep moving forward, we initially turned to sending home practice videos. However, the longing for connection and the joy of dancing together led us to embrace Zoom. I transformed an old shed in the garden into a cozy studio space, complete with a barre, twinkling lights, and a trusty heater to brave the winter chill. April 2019 showtime, a complete sell out for all four shows! Our theme for the first half this year was broadway! It was spectacular; a traditional 42nd street tap number which opened the show, Matilda and Charlie and the chocolate factory for our musical theatre numbers, a sassy Chicago number from the adults and my smallest and cutest gave us a chitty chitty bang bang medley, among many more wonderful numbers. Show time 2017 FILMS AND CINDERELLA The first half of our show always has a theme and for 2017 it was all about iconic films such as James Bond, Happy Feet, Ghostbusters to name just a few. The the second half was Cinderella the ballet, featuring the troublesome ugly sisters to the charming prince and beautiful Cinderella.
